Esthetics

The esthetics course consists of 1000 clock hours covering all aspects of esthetics work (skincare, make-up, spa treatments, and waxing). The course is designed to prepare the student to pass the State Board of Esthetics examination, and to help the student obtain the knowledge and skills needed for an entry-level position in the field.

Our curriculum

You will learn the proper use of implements relative to all Esthetician services and acquire the knowledge of analyzing the skin before all services to determine any disorders. Students will learn the procedures and terminology used in performing all Esthetician services, application of daytime and evening make-up to include: the application of individual and false strip eyelashes, and the proper procedure of plain and electrical facials. Students will also learn the waxing skills necessary and proper massage techniques.
