RequirementsAll prospective students must have a personal interview with the Admissions Officer prior to admission. The following is required of all potential cosmetology and cosmetology instructor students:
- Must be 16 years of age or older
- Must provide a social security card
- Must provide a valid driver’s licence
- Must provide a high school diploma or GED
- For instructor program students:
- You must have a cosmetology licence
- You must been licensed for a year prior to your enrollment
- Note: All courses are taught in English. We do not offer multi-lingual instruction
Our Outcome RatesGraduation Rates 75.8% 44 students out of 58 that were scheduled to graduate in 2017 completed the course in that year. Placement Rates 84% 37 students out of the 44 who graduated in 2017 were employed in the field of study. Licensure Rates 100% 23 students out of the 23 who went for their exam for licensure passed.

Payment in FullWe accept full payments in the form of cash, check, and credit (Visa and Mastercard) on the day of enrollment. See our cosmetology or instructor program pages for tuition information.
Institutional Loans and Student LoansStudents can finance with an interest rate as low as 3% depending on their credit score.
For Transfer StudentsTuition costs for students who transfer is $7.26 per hour for length of the program enrolled. There is a non refundable enrollment fee of $150. The kit and books can be purchased through New Beginning College of Cosmetology or provided by the student. The student can bring in a kit they have purchase or one provided to them from another school. We can only accept up to 80 percent from another institution. If you wish to transfer your financial aid, you must be in good standing with your current school.

Student Complaint/Grievance PolicyComplaints directed at an individual instructor or staff member must be discussed directly with the individual involved. If one-on-one discussion fails to result in a satisfactory resolution, a written complaint must be submitted to the School Director. The School Director must respond to the complaint in writing within ten (10) business days, excluding Saturday, Sunday and State and Federal holidays. If the student is not satisfied with the proposed resolution, the student must respond to the School Director, in writing, within ten (10) business days, excluding Saturday, Sunday, and State and Federal holidays. The School Director will issue a final written response to the student within ten (10) business days, excluding Saturday, Sunday, and State and Federal holidays. If a student does not feel that the School has adequately addressed a complaint or concern, the student may consider contacting the school's accreditor:
