Our Curriculum

Our student population is diverse. We empower students to become a community of learners and teachers through observation, sharing information, practical hands-on application, and service to the local community. We strive to keep abreast with new methods of teaching, and we maintain small class sizes for a better instructor-student ratio.

New Beginning College of Cosmetology wants to guide students toward a brighter future through the use of a Cosmetic Arts education. We lead students by teaching the following areas of cosmetology:

  • Manicures
  • Pedicures
  • Hair coloring
  • Hair cutting
  • Hair styling
  • Waxing
  • Facials
  • Makeup
  • And more

To keep students on track throughout their attendance, we work on a level system. Throughout the entirety of their time here, they will learn theory. After they achieve a level two status, students will then add in hands-on application in the student salon to their education. The levels go as follows.

Students will start as a Level One Student. During this 8 week time period, students will learn the basics in theory.

Level Two Students Here, they will move to working with guests on the clinic floor. They will also continue to attend theory classes.

The final level is the Level Three Student status. These are the most experienced students. They continue to learn in theory classes and practice on the clinic floor.
